In 1949, after the communication between Taiwan and the mainland was cut off, Chen Younian's beloved, Pan Zhibin, left the mainland, and they each had their own families and lives. When they met again, after most of their lives had passed, their reunion was as beautiful as their first encounter;
Chen Younian's brother, Chen Ruiting, was separated from his son for 38 years, eagerly welcoming his son's return, only to unexpectedly receive news of his son's death.
Chen Ruiting's child, Chen Mian, faced with his beloved about to study abroad, felt reluctant and feared a tragedy between the elders, but had to accept reality.
